I should start off by sharing that "A healthy ELF" came from my initials being ELF :) Elisabeth Linda Flood (maiden name).
Elf workouts was founded on a mission to help women feel strong, fit and healthy. To create workouts that are fun and exciting, but consistent enough to facilitate progress.
I was born in Oslo, Norway in 1988. My health journey started when we moved to the United States at the age of 10. Hi! I'm Liz, a passionate advocate for both education and fitness. By day, I'm a dedicated Early Intervention special education teacher committed to empowering and nurturing the potential of every child! But when I'm not in a classroom, you'll find me deeply immersed in the world of fitness and wellness!
As a certified personal trainer, I've made it my mission to merge my love for teaching with my passion for fitness, which is why I created my fitness app. A platform designed specifically for women seeking transformative workouts, whether they're at home or in the gym.
My approach to fitness isn't just about breaking a sweat; it's about empowerment, motivation, and a challenge through personalized workout routines that are science-backed, based on the latest fitness science, using the OPT model to maximize your results.
They are intentionally programmed for efficiency and convenience. I focus on a balanced approach that combines strength training and endurance to help you achieve your desired body composition. I aim to inspire women to get out of their comfort zones, surpass their limits, and discover their inner strength!
I'm particularly proud to introduce the Build and Burn Method, a unique approach I've developed that combines strength, endurance, and overall well-being, providing an effective, balanced fitness routine that will leave you feeling energized, like you can take on the world!
It's not just about getting fit; My interest in health and wellness extends beyond the physical. It's about fostering a positive mindset and a balanced lifestyle that promotes overall health and happiness. Because fitness isn't just about what happens during a workout—it's a whole body health journey. Nourishing your body is just as important as challenging it.
